Coggins in Southern Bavaria, health certificates required for German horses who participate at the European Championship of American Quarter Horses!
Since there have been cases of positive coggins tests in southern Bavaria recently, the government veterinarian Office in Amberg (who oversees the European Championships) will require a health certificate for each horse entering the show grounds.
Horses, which arrive without a current health certificate, will be put into quaranti ne.

Please note that incorrect and/or incomplete documentation will result in extra fees and delays for the respective participant.
The form is mandatory for all horses traveling to Kreuth from Germany. Horses from abroad will be fine with their International Traces documents issued by their official vet.
Important for all participants:
The show management once again points out (cooperating with the vet office), that participating in the show is voluntary and is carried out at the participant’s own responsibility.
Entry fees cannot be refunded in case of scratching your entry.

For every horse which will participate in the EC a health certificate has to be submitted. This has been ordered and prescribed by the veterinarian authority of the district office Sulzbach-Amberg.The attached form hast to be filled out and signed by the responsible official veterinarian of our district. Only the official veterinarians have the necessary knowledge of possible infections in your district.

Infektiöse Anämie in Südbayern / Gesundheits-Zeugnis für Anreise zur Europameisterschaft der American Quarter Horses erforderlich
I n einigen Teilen Südbayerns ist Infektiöse Annemie ausgebrochen. Die Veterinär-Behörde des Landratsamtes Sulzbach-Amberg hat, als zuständige Stelle für den Turnierstandort Rieden –Kreuth, heute die Vorlage von Gesundheits-Zeugnissen für jedes teilnehmende Pferd der Europameisterschaft der Amercian Quarter Horses angeordnet.
Das beigefügte Formular muss der jeweils zuständige Amtsveterinär ausstellen und unterzeichnen. Nur die Amtsveterinäre haben das nötige umfassende Wissen über eventuelle Infektionen in Ihrem Landkreis.
Pferde, die ohne ein solches Attest anreisen, müssen in Quarantäne-Boxen untergebracht werden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass unvollständige Dokumentation/Begleitpapiere zu Mehrkosten und Verzögerungen in der Aufstallung und Abfertigung der Pferde führen. Das Showmanagement weist darauf hin, dass die Turnierteilnahme freiwillig und auf eigene Verantwortung erfolgt.
Nenngelder können bei Nichtteilnahme nicht zurückerstattet werden.
