- All foreign horses (except Belgium and Netherlands) need current health papers from an officer Vet.
Around 2003 the travel were open between European Coumunity. Also Border control were stopped. Vet regulations did not change. This regulation is 2003/623/EG. It says that the travel of all equidae outside the country border must be controled and tracked. Each foreign horse can be checked by border control (douane, Zoll, official Vet and police at all time) inside of the host country. Luxembourgish Vet inspection require this information for all international horse shows! In addition to this, is a special agreement between BE-NE-Lux gouvernements.
